At Rue Sophie, each piece is intentionally crafted in limited quantities to honor timeless design and conscious consumption. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.
Return Window
Products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, provided they are in new, unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged condition, free of animal hair, with all original tags attached. Please allow us 1 - 3 business days to process your return.
Restocking Fee
- For Made-to-Order items: If you return all items, a restocking fee of $15.00 will be deducted from your refund. If you keep at least one item, a return shipping fee of $5.00 will be deducted from your refund.
- For Ready-to-Ship items: A return shipping fee of $5.00 will be deducted from your refund.

Free exchanges are available for all full-priced items within 14 days of delivery.
Exchange items must meet the same eligibility requirements as returns, provided they are in new, unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged condition, free of animal hair, with all original tags attached.
Items that do not meet these standards will be returned to you at your expense, and no refund will be issued.

Final Sale Policy
Items marked as “Final Sale” cannot be returned or exchanged. Final Sale items are not eligible for price adjustments, even if further discounted after purchase.

Sale items can be returned within 14 days for store credit or exchanged for another item. Refunds are not available for sale items.
How to Exchange Sale Items?
To exchange a qualifying Sale item, begin your request through our exchange portal here. A $5.00 shipping fee applies, and exchanges will be shipped via standard shipping to the address provided at checkout. All exchange items must include the provided return shipping label and correct return authorization to be processed.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
At this time, RueSophie.com does not accept international returns or exchanges.

Shipping Policy
At Rue Sophie, we are committed to providing an exceptional shipping experience while also supporting sustainable practices.
We offer free shipping on all continental U.S. orders over $100, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. We partner with reliable shipping providers such as UPS, USPS, DHL, FedEx and 3PE Express to ensure your order reaches you in a timely and efficient manner.
- Made-to-order items may take 8 to 14 days to ship as they are crafted specifically for you. Orders ship from our atelier in China.
- Ready-to-ship items will follow our standard shipping timeline. Orders ship from Los Angeles, CA. We utilize UPS for all domestic shipments.
Orders placed before 2 PM PST will ship the same day. Orders placed after 2 PM PST or on weekends and holidays will be processed the next business day. A shipment confirmation will be sent once your order is processed.
We do not process or ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays, or company-observed holidays.

We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for items delivered to a freight forwarder or shipment locations not listed in our approved destinations.

For the most accurate measurements, we recommend using a soft measuring tape and following these guidelines:
• Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level.
• Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, typically the narrowest part of your torso.
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, about 8 inches below your waist.

Additionally, we provide fit information (Fitted, Oversized, Relaxed, True to Size) to give you a sense of how the item is designed to drape or conform to your body.
If you’re between sizes, we recommend checking the item’s fit description. For a closer fit, choose the smaller size, and for a more relaxed fit, select the larger.

A return shipping fee of $5.00 will be deducted from your refund.
Free exchanges are available for all full-priced items within 21 days of the original shipping date. Once your item has been received and inspected, your exchange will be shipped.
Final Sale items (40%+ discount) can’t be returned but may be exchanged once for the same item in a different size within the U.S., if available. A $5 exchange shipping fee applies. Sale items (discounted less than 40%) can be returned within 21 days for store credit or exchanged for another item. Refunds are not available for sale items.
